The Zeno BTC Layer 2 network architecture is designed to overcome the scalability challenges faced by the Bitcoin blockchain. By utilizing off-chain solutions, Zeno aims to enhance transaction efficiency while maintaining the security and decentralization of the Bitcoin network. The architecture comprises multiple specialized layers that collaborate to improve transaction throughput, reduce congestion, and introduce new capabilities, including cross-chain interoperability and advanced security measures.
The diagram above illustrates the seven key layers that make up the Zeno BTC Layer 2 network. Each layer serves a specific function, ensuring the seamless execution of transactions while optimizing performance.
Application Layer: The Zeno Application Layer is the topmost interface that interacts with end-users through decentralized applications (dApps) and various services. It includes platforms for payments, decentralized exchanges, and smart contracts, all of which leverage the power of Zeno’s Layer 2 infrastructure.
Smart Contract Interface Layer: Zeno’s Smart Contract Interface Layer allows for the execution of complex smart contracts on Layer 2. This layer facilitates a wide range of applications, from multi-signature wallets to decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols, ensuring the scalability of Bitcoin-based applications.
Consensus & Verification Layer: In the Zeno Consensus & Verification Layer, consensus algorithms such as Proof of Stake (PoS) or Proof of Authority (PoA) are implemented. This layer verifies the accuracy of off-chain transactions, maintaining the integrity of the Zeno Layer 2 network and ensuring consensus across all participants.
AI Processing Layer: The Zeno AI Processing Layer integrates artificial intelligence and machine learning to optimize the network’s performance. Predictive analytics and intelligent routing systems in this layer help adjust fees dynamically, predict transaction congestion, and enhance the overall user experience on the Zeno network.
Data Collection & Preprocessing Layer: The Zeno Data Collection & Preprocessing Layer handles the aggregation and preprocessing of transaction data. By filtering, cleaning, and compressing data before passing it onto the next layers, this layer ensures that only relevant and high-quality information is processed.
Data Source Layer: The Zeno Data Source Layer connects to various external data sources, such as off-chain databases, oracles, and APIs. This layer allows the Zeno network to access real-time data for decision-making, transaction validation, and cross-chain operations, ensuring smooth interaction with external systems.
Through this multi-layered approach, the Zeno BTC Layer 2 network significantly improves Bitcoin's scalability while preserving its security and decentralization. By integrating cutting-edge technologies and a modular design, Zeno provides a scalable and efficient solution for the future of blockchain applications.
